C.P. Bourg Takes on Distribution of Multigraf Touchline Print Finishing Solutions for the United States of America
C.P. Bourg / Multigraf Touchline products set to debut in the spring of 2021.
New Bedford, MA; April 1, 2021 – C.P. Bourg Inc., the U.S. based headquarters of the world’s leading developer and supplier of document feeding, binding, and finishing equipment, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Multigraf the Switzerland based manufacturer of standalone dynamic creasing, folding, cutting, slitting and perforating finishers.
Multigraf AG develops and manufactures a broad range of paper processing products. With more than 35 years’ experience, reliable partners, and an ambitious team, Multigraf has a long tradition of developing high quality, first-class products that combine maximum flexibility with amazing modularity.
Under this agreement Multigraf has granted exclusive rights to C.P. Bourg Inc.to distribute their complete product line, spare parts, and provide service support of their products throughout the United States of America.
The Multigraf products will be formally unveiled as part of the C.P. Bourg product line displayed in the corporate showroom, the company’s website and at the planned Printing United tradeshow being held October 6-8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The Multigraf products will also be available for virtual demonstrations hosted from either the Multigraf headquarters in Muri Switzerland or from C.P. Bourg Incorporated’s Americas headquarters in New Bedford MA.
The Multigraf family of products include the Touchline generation of Print Finishing Solutions that provide more flexibility and automation than any other product of its class on the market today. Within the Touchline product family there are several industry first innovations, including the “swing bar system” of scoring that prevents breaking of the fibers during the creasing process as well as fully-automatic setting “groove” depths with different positions. Multigraf’s patented Pro-Knife folding unit guarantees a perfect folding process even with thicker medias. These versatile and expandable and fast suction fed finishers can process up to 5000 sheets (half fold A4) per hour while applying an impressive number of crease and folds!
“The Multigraf products are an exciting addition to the C.P. Bourg product line,” said James Tressler Vice President of Sales, C.P. Bourg Inc. “With its low cost of ownership, simple operation and compact footprint, the entire product family makes it easy for print service providers and in-plant printing operations to expand their product offerings with exceptionally low risk and at an extremely attractive cost of entry.
“That coupled with the full resources and commitment of C.P. Bourg Inc. as well as our dealers and partners for sales, service and support throughout the United States of America makes the C.P. Bourg / Multigraf product offerings even more compelling,” Mr. Tressler explained.
Patric Lerch CEO, of Multigraf AG, added, “C.P. Bourg Inc. Brings 60 years of experience with an extensive sales, service and support network through its partners and dealer distribution network.
